Simple & Transparent

How It Works

No complex process. No surprise fees. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you reach out to the moment you get paid.

  1. 01

    Send photos

Fill out the short form with a few photos and rough details. Takes a couple of minutes, costs nothing.

For a binder collection: photos of each page work great. For bulk: a few photos of the pile or box. For individual high-value cards: close-up front and back. You don't need a fancy setup — good natural light and your phone camera are fine.

The more clearly I can see the cards, the better the estimate I can give. You're not committing to anything at this stage.

Tip: photograph any cards you think might be valuable separately from the bulk.

  2. 02

    Get your estimate

I'll review your submission — typically within 24 hours — and follow up with a ballpark offer and answers to any questions you have.

I price based on current market (recent eBay sold listings, TCGPlayer) for individual cards and a per-card rate for bulk. I'll explain the estimate clearly so you can see how I got there.

No obligation. You can decide to move forward, ask more questions, or walk away — no pressure either way.

  3. 03

    Ship or meet up

If you want to move forward, you send your collection or we meet up locally.

Local (Vancouver): we pick a safe, public meeting spot — a coffee shop, a mall, wherever works for both of us. Daytime preferred. I'll confirm a final offer on the spot.

Shipping: you send your collection in and I confirm the final offer once I've reviewed it in hand. Your postage cost is reimbursed as part of your payout — see the FAQ for how that works.

Protect your cards for shipping: penny sleeves inside top-loaders or card savers, packed snugly so nothing shifts. I can walk you through it if you've never shipped cards before.

  4. 04

    Get paid

Once we've agreed and I've verified the cards, payment goes out via Interac e-Transfer — usually the same day.

Your shipping cost is reimbursed as part of your payout, so you're not out of pocket for postage.

If there's a meaningful discrepancy between what we agreed on and what arrived, I'll flag it transparently and we'll work it out. I don't ghost people or make lowball adjustments after the fact.

Payment goes out fast. Most sellers have money in their account within hours of me receiving the package.

What if something goes wrong?

Cards get lost in the mail very rarely, but it happens. When you ship, use a tracked service and hold onto your receipt — that tracking number is your protection. If a package goes missing in transit, we'll work through it together using whatever tracking information is available.

If the cards arrive in different condition than the photos showed (grading subjectivity is real), I'll be upfront about what I'm seeing and we'll talk it through. I won't blindside you with a lower offer after the fact without a conversation.

Bottom line: I'm a real person, not a warehouse. You can reach me directly, and I'll treat you the way I'd want to be treated.
